Awards Timeline
This section lists the major graduate student awards by term of application deadline. The application process for some awards may take weeks or months, so we advise early planning — check for awards that may be due early in the next term.
Most awards are processed through departmental nomination, and application packages should be submitted to your department/academic unit unless otherwise indicated.
International students are eligible to apply for the following awards. Please check the deadlines and eligibility requirements on each award to ensure that you are eligible.Be sure to prepare your application in advance of the month and/or term the award is listed.
Please note that there may be external awards not listed that you may apply for — the awards listed are only those processed or paid through Simon Fraser University.
