Minerva Foundation for BC Women
The objectives for the Minerva Foundation's Education Awards Program are to:
- Assist single mothers in advancing their education
- Re-train mature women returning to the workforce after a long absence
- Advance women in non-traditional fields of study
- Assist immigrant and Aboriginal women and women with a disability to overcome educational barriers

Nancy Harrison & Paul Buitenhuis Award
The award will be granted on the basis of financial need and academic proficiency, with preference given to a single mother. Graduate students must be registered in an approved full-time program. The recipient must maintain a minimum CGPA of 2.00
Value: $5,000 per year
Application Deadline: early June
Rix Family Foundation Science and Technology Award
Preference will be given to an applicant who meets at least one of the Foundation's objectives (listed above)
Value: $1,000 Application Deadline: early June
Suzanne Lee Teacher's Education Endowment Fund Preference will be given to an applicant who meets at least one the Foundation's objectives (listed above)
Value: $2,000 per year Application Deadline: early June
