Trudeau Foundation Doctoral Scholarship
The Trudeau Foundation supports doctoral candidates pursuing research of compelling present-day concern, touching upon one or more of the four themes of the Foundation. The four themes of the Foundation are human rights and social justice, responsible citizenship, Canada and the world, and humans and their natural environment.
Trudeau Scholars are each paired with a Trudeau Mentor, an outstanding professional who pursues policy analysis and implementation in his or her daily work.
Terms of reference
Fifteen awards are awarded nationally each year to outstanding students in the social sciences and humanities. Research must be in one of four themes of the foundation.
