Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships (CGS)
Terms of reference: To attract and retain world-class doctoral students who demonstrate leadership skills and a high standard of scholarly achievement in doctoral studies at Canadian universities.
Canada's three federal granting agencies (Canadian Institutes of Health Research [CIHR], Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council [NSERC] and Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council [SSHRC]) will provide a nomination quota to each Canadian university.

Candidates must be nominated for a Vanier CGS via a Canadian university with a Vanier quota and be seeking support to pursue their first PhD.
