BCAA Environmental Studies in Transportation Award
Terms of Reference
- The purpose of this award is to recognize outstanding academic performance by a graduate student whose thesis research is related to the study of land-based transportation systems and their relationship to, and improvement of, the environment.
- The BCAA Environmental Studies in Transportation Award is a one-term award equal to the net income from the endowment fund.
- The criteria for this award are:
- demonstrated academic excellence at the graduate level
- promise of outstanding achievement at the graduate level with particular emphasis on research related to the study of land-based transportation systems and their relationship to, and improvement of, the environment.
- demonstrated academic excellence at the graduate level
- Application is made on the Application for a Private Graduate Scholarship form and must be accompanied by:
- copies of all post-secondary transcripts
- one letter of reference from a faculty member familiar with the applicant's work
- a concise outline of the proposed program of studies
- copies of all post-secondary transcripts
- The award will be made by the Dean of Graduate Studies, on behalf of the Senate Graduate Awards Adjudication Committee.
