Ewan Clark Memorial Award in Graduate Liberal Studies

Terms of Reference

  1. Awards will be made annually from a portion of the income earned from the endowment fund.
  2. Applicants to this award must:
    1. have a demonstrated history as an artist, musician, writer, or actor
    2. be registered full-time in the SFU Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences' Graduate Liberal Studies Program.
  3. The student must be nominated for this award by the Director of the Graduate Liberal Studies Program. Students may apply on the Application for a Private Graduate Scholarship form and must be accompanied by:
    1. a current, unofficial SFU transcript and a copy of the transcript of the most recent degree program completed
    2. one letter of reference from a faculty member familiar with the applicant's work
    3. a one page letter from the student chronicling their history as an artist, musician, writer, and/or actor
  4. The award will be made by the Dean of Graduate Studies, on behalf of the Senate Graduate Awards Adjudication Committee upon the nomination of the Director of the Graduate Liberal Studies program.
