Rotary Club of Burnaby Scholarship

Terms of Reference

  1. The purpose of this annual award is to provide financial support for a student pursuing a graduate degree in education.
  2. The criteria for this award are:
    1. registration at Simon Fraser University in a graduate program in the Faculty of Education
    2. scholarly merit and the advancement of education practice
  3. This award may be held in conjunction with other awards made by Simon Fraser University or other agencies where permitted by those agencies.
  4. Application is made on the Application for a Private Graduate Scholarship form and must be accompanied by:
    1. copies of transcripts of all post-secondary education
    2. curriculum vitae
    3. two letters of reference from faculty members familiar with the applicant's work
    4. a concise outline of the proposed program of studies
  5. The completed application and all supporting documents must be received by the department of enrolment.
  6. The award will be made by the Dean of Graduate Studies on behalf of the Senate Graduate Awards Adjudication Committee.
