Each student received $500 to support conference and research travel, and were chosen from a strong pool of over 59 applicants. The grants were awarded based on academic relevance, merit and financial need.

  • External Award: Omidyar Fellowship at Santa Fe Institute September 15, 2014
    The Omidyar Fellowship at the Santa Fe Institute is unique among postdoctoral appointments. The Institute has no formal programs or departments. Research is collaborative and spans the physical, natural, and social sciences. Most research is theoretical and/or computational in nature, although some research includes an empirical component.

  • Fair Trade Campus event September 15, 2014
    Chief Adam Tampuri, a Ghanaian cashew farmer and Chair of Fair Trade Africa, will be speaking on campus on Tuesday, September 16.
