Maclean's magazine's annual ranking of Canadian universities is out this week, and SFU has again been ranked as the top comprehensive university in Canada.

The category description:

Comprehensive universities have a significant degree of research activity and a wide range of programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels, including professional degrees.

SFU has been placed as the top comprehensive university in Canada nine times since Maclean's started its rankings, 21 years ago. This is our four year in a row at the top position in our category.

The ranking is based on our high standing in a number of categories, including awards for faculty and students, student services and student/faculty ratios.
