Congratulations to Masa Iwase, recent CMNS grad, for winning the Language and Literacy Researchers’ of Canada Master’s Research Award for his thesis, New literacies, Japanese youth, and global fast food culture: Exploring critical youth agencies.

He’s received $500 and an invitation to present at the Canadian Society for the Study of Education Conference in New Brunswick this May.
