SFU Rises to 26th in World University Rankings of Universities under 50; 3rd in Canada

The Times Higher Education world rankings of 100 universities under 50 years old has just been released — SFU is ranked 26th (up from 30th in 2012), and 3rd overall in Canada.

Their news release says that the ranking "aims to identify the rising stars of the global academy — Some younger institutions have proved that with the right focus and support, they can establish themselves as global forces in years rather than generations."

QS also released its 50 Under 50 rankings, on which SFU ranked 30th, and second in Canada.
