Update: April 16, 2012
The movie folks have sent us a 50% off coupon for purchasing/streaming the movie from their website.

Jorge Cham, the creator of the satirical PhD comic about life as a graduate student, also has a movie coming out this fall.

The film introduces audiences to the unique and funny culture of academia and follows four graduate students (Cecilia, Mike, Tajel and the “Nameless Grad Student”) as they struggle to find balance between research, teaching and their personal lives with humor and heart.

The film is only being shown on university campuses this fall, and yes, it will be coming to SFU for several screenings in October.

And yes, of course SFU faculty members and staff are welcome too!

Admission will be free.

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled screening time. If there is a waitlist for the event, we'll admit the people on the waitlist ten minutes before the event begins.

Hosted by the Dean of Graduate Studies, SFU, as part of the 40th anniversary of graduate studies at Simon Fraser University.
