Job Posting: Survey and data analyst

The Office of Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Fellows and Burnaby Mountain College are looking for a graduate student to analyze survey data about graduate student life at SFU.

The job will involve:

  • Gathering the results of previous surveys and combining them with other data and evidence or studies (if available) which provide the broadest picture of the living and working circumstances of master's and doctoral students.
  • Analyse the data and search for patterns, separating students by key demographic characteristics if available
  • Interpreting the meaning of the data and studies for the ongoing social and intellectual activities of the Burnaby Mountain College as well as for future graduate student engagement strategies to be developed by the Office of Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Fellows

The work will take approximately 10 hours/week to a maximum of 120 hours, and the pay is $27–$30 per hour depending on qualifications. Application deadline: July 26, 2013.
