The Autism Research Training Program (ART) seeks to recruit and train highly qualified researchers in transdisciplinary autism research.

The goal of the ART Program is to recruit and train outstanding researchers in the field of autism, in disciplines such as genetics, brain imaging, epidemiology, neurology, psychiatry, psychology and others. The Program is based out of McGill University, and coordinates activities with 15 other Canadian universities. This program offers complementary training and mentorship to graduate students and postdoctoral fellows registered at a Canadian University and having interests in autism research.

Applicants must be PhD students or postdoctoral fellows, and funding is for three years:

  • Post-doctoral fellows ($36,750.00)
  • PhD ($20,000.00)

The application deadline for the competitions is March 8, 2013.

They also have an ART Summer School, with an application deadline of July 5, 2013.
