The Aboriginal Master’s/Doctoral Student Award is part of a general awards program offered by the Irving K. Barber British Columbia Scholarship Society aimed at reducing barriers to post-secondary education for Aboriginal learners. Awards will be $5,000 annually renewable for a maximum of 3 years for Master's students and 5 years for Doctoral students.
The new Aboriginal Teacher Education Award supports Aboriginal students enrolled in a teacher education program at a public post-secondary in British Columbia. Awards will be $5,000 annually for a maximum of four years.
