The Indian Council for Cultural Relations offers scholarships for one year of study in India at the Master's or PhD level or for one year of research in India toward a Canadian PhD. This scholarship is tenable from September 2013.

The competition is open to all disciplines including natural sciences, engineering, humanities, social sciences and the arts. Candidates must be Canadian citizens.

The award covers return economy class airfare; personal living allowance; accommodation expenses; and other study and medical allowances.
