Google's RISE (Roots in Science and Engineering) Awards are now accepting applications for awards between $5,000 and $25,000.

We grant awards to organizations working with K-12 (primary & secondary schools) and university students to provide enrichment programs in these fields.

See their past award recipients for an idea of the kinds of projects they fund. Note: Canadian projects aren't in the list but Canada is on the list of eligible countries.

Application deadline is September 30, 2012.
