The Organization of American States (OAS) offers professional development scholarships for short courses that can be taken online, in person, or in combination of both modes.

Course descriptions are available on the Organization of American States' Scholarships for Professional Development web page. Note that descriptions are only posted in the language in which the course is delivered.

The value of the scholarship depends on the course selected; some include airfare and others need you to pay for accommodation and travel on-site. Please read the description carefully.

Note: These courses won't count towards your degree requirements but might be very useful for professional development in your field.

The application deadline is seven days before the deadline in the specific course announcement. (This part seems a little confusing so we'd recommend that you get your application in well before the deadline.)
