SSHRC is asking postsecondary students to show Canadians how social sciences and humanities research is affecting our lives, our world and our future prosperity. They are looking for "storytellers and data journalists, social media masters and aspiring filmmakers."

Pick a great SSHRC-funded research project happening at SFU, and present it in 3-minutes using your own creative method of communication.

There are 25 awards available each valued at $3,000, as well as an invitation to a special communications workshop at Congress 2013 in Victoria and the chance to deliver a featured presentation at this year’s World Social Science Forum in Montreal.

To participate in Research for a Better Life: The Storytellers, you must be a resident of Canada, currently enrolled at a Canadian postsecondary institution, and 19 years of age or older.

The application deadline is March 1, 2013, 11:59 pm EST
