Scholarships and Awards
Scholarship-Positions database
The Scholarship-Positions.com website, run by international students from over 25 countries, contains a very large number of awards, with daily updates.
Scholarships are sorted by country, educational level (eg. master's / PhD / post-doc) and assistantships / research positions. There is a page of scholarships for women.
It doesn't look like there's a research area sort, but you can use their search box for your research area and discipline—don't forget to use broad and narrow search terms.
This will be a very useful website if you're in the middle of your graduate program and need to begin doing research for what you'd like to do after you complete your degree. Leave a lot of time, especially for the international awards.
Tip: Don't forget that many awards are offered annually, so if you find one that's a perfect fit, keep an eye on the award page and put it on your calendar to check it again in 6–8 months.
