Check out the ScholarshipDB.net website for a large database of scholarships, awards, and postodctoral positions, searchable by country and academic discipline.
There's a help page that also shows you how to create an email alert for your custom search.
Note: It looks like they make their money through Google adwords, so the site design is a bit clunky.
To make it easier, here's a search for scholarships for Canadians posted in the last 30 days.
In addition, look for the "view source" text link on an award's listing page (usually buried under the google adwords box) as that link will take you to the original source of the information on that page.
