The Trudeau Foundation Scholarship is one of the most prestigious awards in Canada.
The Trudeau Foundation supports doctoral candidates pursuing research of compelling present-day concern, touching upon one or more of the four themes of the Foundation. The four themes of the Foundation are human rights and social justice, responsible citizenship, Canada and the world, and humans and their natural environment.
Scholarships are valued at $40,000 per year for up to four years, plus up to an additional $20,000 annually to support research-related travel. Trudeau Scholars are each paired with a Trudeau Mentor, an outstanding professional who pursues policy analysis and implementation in his or her daily work.
