The Tyee is accepting applications to two journalism Fellowships.

• The Tyee Investigative Fellowship funds investigative research and reporting focused on B.C.
• The Tyee Solutions Fellowship funds research and reporting on promising attempts at solving problems facing B.C.

Fellowship winners receive $5,000 each to produce a series of three or more articles, each running at least 1,000 words. You don't have to be a trained journalist, but they say that "you do need to demonstrate you can do rigorous, in-depth journalism."

Application deadline has been extended to December 15, 2012.
