The purpose of this award is to assist undergraduate and graduate students further their study of India and prepare them for a career in an India related field. Awards will be provided to students with high academic achievements who can clearly demonstrate how the award will contribute to their knowledge of India and how this knowledge will contribute to their long-term career goals. Eligible disciplines include Indian culture, history, International Trade, religion, arts, India-Canada economic development and the human dimension of science and technology,
