The program is designed to assist graduate students in fields related to the mining industry, including:
Mining Engineering;
Exploration & Mining Geology;
Hydrogeology & Water Engineering;
Tailings & Mine Waste Management; and,
Environmental Science & Engineering.
The value of the scholarship is $15,000 per year through NSERC plus an additional $6,000 per year from SRK Canada. Any partial amounts awarded by NSERC may result in SRK’s portion being pro-rated accordingly.
