We're sharing the contest entries from our Photos of Home grad student competition.

Today's photo is from Inderjeet Sahota, Biomedical Physiology and Kinesiology, who writes:

This photograph was taken in January 2012 during my trip to the UK to visit my family and friends back home. It is a picture of the Victoria Memorial in front of Buckingham Palace in London and I chose this picture for this contest because I love the contrast between the gold statue and the sky.

London has a rich history and every time I go home, I enjoy visiting the city's museums and famous attractions. I think this picture captures some of that history.
