Today's photos are from Marjan Shayegan, Department of Chemistry, who writes:

For me, home is where all your happy childhood memories are saved, in each room, behind all the old walls and windows.  This photo was taken at our grandparents' house in Boroujerd, Iran. Every time I look at it, I imagine family gathering together and children playing in the yard. It is an ancient, traditional-style Iranian house.

The photo below is an old-fashioned restaurant in Iran, showing the simple clay-fired desert architecture surrounded by green gardens.
