Royal Society opens archives
October 26, 2011
The Royal Society, founded in 1665, is the world's oldest scientific publisher. And its archives are now available for free online.
Around 60,000 historical scientific papers are accessible via a fully searchable online archive, with papers published more than 70 years ago now becoming freely available.
It's a treasure trove for scientists and historians. The archive opening is part of Open Access Week.
