Vancouver Foundation Offers Youth Philanthropy Grants

The Vancouver Foundation has small grants of up to $500 to people who want to improve the youth community in Vancouver.

Their priority areas:

  • health and well being
  • employment and training
  • culture, identity and belonging

If you're working in a related area for your graduate research, this could be a great way to get a small amount of funding that helps you move forward with your work. If you're older than 24 and you're working with a group of youths, you could be the "adult ally" on the application form.

To get a grant, you'll have to fill out a Mini Grants Application Form 2012 and attend a pitch meeting on July 7, 2012 at the Roundhouse Community Arts and Recreation Centre, 181 Roundhouse Mews, Vancouver.
