We're sharing the contest entries from our Photos of Home grad student competition.

Today's photo is from Rowan Trebilco, Department of Biological Sciences, who writes:

Between completing my undergrad in Tasmania and coming to grad school, I worked for a couple of years as a seabird biologist for the Tasmanian government. This hut, at Hurd Point on Macquarie Island, in the Australian sub-antarctic, was my home for much of this time. Hurd Point is also home to a rich assortment of wildlife including the worlds largest breeding colony of Royal penguins and many albatrosses, petrels and seals — many of which cover the beach in this picture.
