We're sharing the contest entries from our Secret Spots & First Impressions grad student photo competition.

This photo, entitled Mother Nature Says Hello,  was taken in Stanely Park. It's from Misha Bajwa, Faculty of Health Sciences who writes:

An impromptu visit to downtown Vancouver led me to this gem of a place. As the sun was setting and the leaves changing, I was amazed at how perfectly this view captured the essence of the city; what a perfect blend of natural and man-made beauty.

As I stood here, I imagined mother nature saying something like, "I just came to say hello."
