CBIE Call for Papers on International Education

The Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE) invites research papers for its PhD Research Series. The series explores current social, cultural, management and policy-related issues of international education.

Papers may address any aspect of the discipline, and submissions are invited, but not limited, to the following topics:

  • Global trends in international education
  • Study abroad
  • International student advising
  • International comparative education
  • International education management
  • International education policy
  • International education marketing
  • International cooperation in education
  • Any other aspect relating to international education

Selected papers will be published by CBIE online at www.cbie-bcei.ca

Eligibility
CBIE welcomes submissions from students in international education or a related field atCBIE member institutions studying towards a doctoral degree or post-doctoral certificate, and from professionals at CBIE member institutions who are pursuing research and/or advanced studies in international education either part-time or full time. Outstanding Master’s level work will also be considered.

Selection Process
Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of experts in the field of international education.

Length: 4,000 words (excluding works cited/bibliography)
Spacing: 1.5 lines 
Font: 12 point 
Margins: 2.5 cm 
File type: Word
Citation style: MLA or APA

Deadline for submission for 2013 publication: July 8, 2013
