International graduate students are invited to participate in a research study that will focus on support for international graduate students at SFU and the related perceptions of service value and the first year experience.

The purpose of this study is to understand first-year international graduate students’ experiences, successes and struggles in an effort to assist in retention. This understanding will be useful to International Services for Students practice, future allocation of resources, and strategic programming to support students.

Participants in the interviews will receive a $10 coffee gift card.

This study has been reviewed by, and received ethics approval from, the Office of Research Ethics, Simon Fraser University.

If you wish to participate in the study or have any inquiries, please contact the researcher Karin Kosarzova, Faculty of Education, directly at kka11@sfu.ca or 604-831-8045
