Info Session: DAAD Funding Opportunities

October 23, 2013

Please join us for a free information session with a representative from the DAAD - German Academic Exchange Service on the scholarship and fellowship opportunities offered by the DAAD for graduate students and PhDs/Postdoctoral Fellows interested in studying, conducting research, or interning abroad in Germany.

The DAAD offers a wide range of funding opportunities to support Canadian students in all fields of study. In most cases, international students and scholars at North America universities are also eligible.

This session will provide an overview of the opportunities available and give you a chance to ask any questions you may have about the DAAD's programs including the application process, support you could expect to receive, etc.

Familiarity with the German language is not required, and many DAAD-funded programs are conducted in English. This session will be useful to anyone who is interested in picking up research experience outside of Canada.
