Mitacs Elevate PDF Info Session – For Intent to Apply Deadline Nov 4th 2013

Mitacs will hold a special info session on the Mitacs Elevate PDF funding opportunity. After the formal presentation, Sang Mah, one of Mitacs' Business Development Directors, will be on hand to answer one-on-one questions such as eligibility and  funding structure. Faculty supervisors, Postdocs, and graduate students are invited to attend. The presentation will include the findings from the recently released CAPS report on the status of post-doctoral fellows in Canada.

Date: Wednesday, October 30th

Tme: 2:30-3:30pm

Location: TASC I, 9204

The Mitacs Elevate program is a two-year postdoctoral fellowship with a stipend of at least $50,000 per year plus $7500 in other project costs. We support researchers applying their expertise to a challenge faced by an industry or community partner.   

  • Open to projects from any discipline and sector

Submit your Intent to Apply by November 4, 2013, at 5:00 p.m. (PST), indicating project, discipline, and reviewers.

Completed applications are due November 19, 2013, at midnight (PST). Note that this application must be submitted to ORS for institutional signature (ORS' deadline is Nov. 12, 2013).
