Job Posting: Mitacs Elevate Postdoctoral Fellowship

Gain experiential training in research and development, leadership training and business acumen while managing a relevant research project through the Mitacs Elevate Postdoctoral Fellowship.  The fellowship is a two-year training program for postdoctoral fellows from any discipline which allows fellows to apply the skills they obtain from training to real-world industries and academia.  The fellows are expected to take part in one to two days a month of training, allowing for networking opportunities with industry professionals, Ph.D. graduates and possible employers.  For this fellowship, the fellow will receive $57,500 per year as well as $7,500 per year worth of training (non-cash value.)

To apply for this fellowship candidates must submit an Intent to Apply that is due by November 26, 2014 at 5:00pm (PST). 

The remainder of the application is due by December 3, 2014 at 1:00pm (PST).  The application in its entirety includes: Application form, a memorandum signed by all parties, CV/Resume,  the Proposed academic supervisors CV and three letters of support (including letters from the proposed academic supervisor, former supervisor or person familiar with fellows research, and letter of support from eligible partner organization.)
