Mitacs Information Session

Print

A Mitacs representative will present some of the recent changes made to the Accelerate program including how to partner with Not-for-Profit organizations.

Laurence Meadows of Mitacs, a national research network, will be providing an overview of the Mitacs Accelerate program which provides funding for professors and graduate students and post-docs to undertake collaborative research projects with non-academic partners. Accelerate is open to all academic departments and all research fields.

Funding is a minimum of $15,000 per term.

Until recently projects involved corporate/industry partners but Accelerate can now support projects with not-for-profit partners in Canada. This session will provide more details on this program expansion. Read more about these recent changes:  https://www.mitacs.ca/en/programs/accelerate/who-eligible
