Events and Conferences: Canada's Smartest Person is looking for contestants!

April 21, 2015

CBC's Canada's Smartest Person is back and looking for contestants from all over the country. Last year the competition was won by a law student from UBC, it has become a hit prime-time show for the CBC and they are looking forward to another exciting season.

Apply or nominate someone today:

Note: The first round of auditions will take place over the phone and on Skype. No travel needed.

“Canada’s Smartest Person” is guided by the theory of Multiple Intelligence and the idea that there are many different ways people can be smart. In fact, there are six! Competitors will be tested in the following brain-bending categories: linguistic, physical, musical, visual, social and logical. We test in all of these different areas to distinguish the Canadian with the most comprehensive and versatile overall intellect. The theory of Multiple Intelligence has redefined what it means to “be smart” and only a rare few excel in all of the different categories."

Applications and interviews will take place over May and June. Successful auditioners will be flown to Toronto by the CBC.
