Job Posting: PhD research fellowships with the University of Oslo in China to study climate change
The University of Oslo is looking for two PhD candidates to work on the university's "Airborne: Pollution, Climate Change, and Visions for Sustainability in China" project which will centre on air quality and health for major Chinese cities. There will be research done on how the current conditions can be improved and how the concept of sustainability will play a role in China's future. The program will take both a scientific and social science approach to climate change by also studying the population's environmental education, lifestyle, social class, and historical perceptions of how the environment should be viewed.
Requirements include a Masters degree in a relevant discipline and fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese.
