External Award: TUBITAK Funding for Science and Research

The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) is offering funding to scientists and researchers in an effort to attract highly educated individuals to Turkey. The funding looks to support groundbreaking research over a number of fields and is supported by funding from both the European Union and the United States for a total of €80 billion between now and 2020.

Early PhD researchers may be eligible for up to €2 million over five years in grant funding with additional funding in larger quantities for applicants in later stages of research showing more promise. 

There is also funding available for researchers wanting to collaborate with their Turkish counterparts.
