Bank of England Fellowships
The Bank of England has two fellowships that are now accepting applications
The Houblon-Norman Fund and the George Fellowships are awarded "to promote research into and disseminate knowledge and understanding of the working, interaction and function of financial business institutions in Great Britain and elsewhere and the economic conditions affecting them."
Applicants are invited to work on full-time research on an economic or financial topic of their choice, but one that would be easiest to research at the Bank of England. The position will be from a month up to a year in duration. They will be provided with a stipend as well as office space and secretarial support as needed.
There are two levels of Fellowship - Senior Fellowships which are awarded to distinguished research workers with established reputations and ordinary Fellowships for newer post-doctoral applicants. Senior Fellowships are open to anyone, but preference is given to UK and EU nationals for the ordinary Fellowships.
Deadline is November 1, 2015, so have a look at the website and see if you might qualify!
