Job Posting: Friends of Simon Tutoring Project

Friends of Simon tutors work with newcomers to Canada to help them adjust and succeed in school. The program is affiliated with the Faculty of Education, and provides an opportunity to expand teaching skills as it provides training and on-site experience.

Wages are $12/hr and training will also be compensated.

Successful applicants must:

  • attend all training sessions
  • commit for 2 afternoons per week, for at least 2 semesters
  • undergo a police record check.
