Graduate School of East Asian Studies Excellence Initiative

If you are getting ready for your PhD and have a focus on East Asia for your research, check out the program offered by the Graduate School of East Asian Studies in Germany.

The will be accepting up to 2 international PhD applicants for a full scholarship plus a monthly stipend of approximately 1000EUR, health insurance, and travel and research allowances, for up to three years.

You will need to apply for admission to the program as the first step, so have a look at the website and see if the program will work for your research.

Deadline is November 30, 2015.

The School is also accepting up to 12 other students to the PhD program to receive grant funding with stipends of 1365EUR/month plus a research allowance, for up to three years.
