For 2 nights only, the Fei and Milton Wong Experimental Theatre at Goldcorp Centre for the Performing Arts will present Klasika: a new musical, from School of Contemporary Arts Master's student Barbara Adler and Ten Thousand Wolves.

According to the SCA website, Klasika is "Inspired by Czech tramping, Canadian Rodeo Queens and the experience of becoming an accidental documentary subject, Klasika reinvents a true story as a sharply funny piece of musical theatre – sparkling with wit, rhinestones and poignant storytelling. Performed by a fourteen-member multidisciplinary ensemble, the show remixes its Czech-country roots with musical numbers at once raucous and romantic, field recordings from near and far, and bedazzled denim costuming by designer and director Kyla Gardiner."

The show starts at 8PM sharp and is followed by a dance party with The Johnny Horton Remix, a "high-energy dance band that plays rollicking country covers of the best songs you've never heard."

Date: October 29 and 30, 2015

Tickets: $5-20 at the door and in advance on the events page of the SCA website, so grab yours while so can to make sure you can see this great work by a fellow SFU student!
