Job Posting: Back-end Web-based Application Developer

movingstories is a SSHRC funded interdisciplinary, collaborative institutional research partnership leading to the design and application of more richly articulated human movement knowledge within digital technology interaction.

The movingstories project is searching for a back-end web-based application developer to take over the development of its movement database.

  • Knowledge of Ruby on Rails necessary, as well as familiarity with JSON, XML, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Some knowledge of front-end development is also necessary

Rate: 20 hrs/week (flexible) at $25/hour
Start date: November 15, 2015 until April 2016
