Want to gain some hot new professional skills this spring?

This April, Mitacs will be offering the following online workshops, free to graduate students and postdoctoral fellows:

Communicating Your Research

This short online workshop highlights the importance of communicating well and focuses on common communication opportunities that researchers face on a regular basis:

Writing Strategic Business Reports

Learn how to write clear and strategic business reports that achieve their intended purpose.

Online workshops run for a duration of two weeks and contain a series of videos, exercises, and content modules for the participants to cover. Participants can access the content and complete their exercises at any time during the 2 week duration.

All grad students and postdocs can attend any MItacs session, held anywhere in BC. Check the Mitacs website for additional offerings.

As always, Mitacs sessions are at no cost but space is limited and seats go fast so sign up now!  (The workshops are free if you show up, but you are charged $50 if you do not show up. See their registration information.)
