Mitacs Step: Online Professional Development Workshops

Want to gain some hot new professional skills this summer? 

Mitacs Step will be offering the following online workshops, free to graduate students and postdoctoral fellows next month: 

Communicating Your Research

  • Starting: Wednesday, June 1st-15th
  • Format: 2-week online workshop, est. completion time 1 hour (Registration open now)
  • Multi-day: Can be accessed at any time during the workshop’s start and end date but must be completed within the two week period specified above

Practical Tips on Growing Your Network

  • Starting: Thursday, June 16th-30th
  • Format: 2-week online workshop, est. completion time 2-3 hours (Registration open now)
  • Multi-day: Can be accessed at any time during the workshop’s start and end date but must be completed within the two week period specified above

These workshops are being offered online but you can check the Mitacs website for offerings elsewhere. All grad students and postdocs can attend any session, held anywhere in BC.

As always the sessions are at no cost but seats go fast so sign up now!  (The workshops are free if you participate, but you are charged $50 if you do not begin the workshop within the 2-week duration. See their registration information.)
