External Award: Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan- New Zealand

Under the Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan, a number of doctoral scholarships are available to Canadians in order to study at New Zealand based institutions. The value of the scholarships are determined by the individual institutions and are available for one academic year with the potential for three extensions.

Awards are available for Canadians in any discipline who have completed an undergraduate degree with an A- average or better and cover travel, tuition, insurance, and an annual grant. Each university's scholarship committees are responsible for the final selection of award recipients, as well the award's terms and conditions.

To apply, complete the online form available on the Government of Canada's webpage by August 8, 2016.
