Job Posting: Student Sustainability Educators

The SFU Sustainability Office is looking to hire Student Sustainability Educators to help promote the Zero Waste Initiative in January at SFU's Burnaby campus.

Your duties will include informing students, staff, and faculty of the different waste streams and disposal procedures by engaging with users on site and answering questions about the program and other sustainability initiatives at SFU, as well as monitoring the success of the Zero Waste program by conducting waste audits and providing feedback to the Sustainability Office. You will learn more about sustainability at SFU while meeting new people and having fun!

The time commitment is a total of 12 hours.
 
Dates: January 9th - 20th, 2017
Times: 12PM-2PM daily (weekdays only)
Location: SFU Burnaby

There will be a 1 hour mandatory training session on Burnaby campus on Wednesday, January 4th, 2017 from 9AM-10AM in Strand Hall Annex, Room 601. You must be able to attend this training session to become a Student Sustainability Educator this term.

Student Sustainability Educators will receive a $150 honorarium upon completion of their duties.

Note that you must be available between 12pm and 2pm for 6 shifts between January 9th and 20th to fulfill the duties of this role.
