SFU's largest entrepreneurship competition is back and we're upping the ante.
Over $50,000 worth of prizes to be won.

This year, there will be at least 4 different teams winning $5000 each - and potentially $5000 more! How does this even make sense? Read on to find out more about The Sixth Annual Coast Capital Savings Venture Prize .

Judged by a panel of external industry experts, entrants of The Sixth Annual Coast Capital Savings Venture Prize are selected based upon the quality of their business concept, current progress, future plans, and presentation skills. Business ventures of any level, from idea to operating companies, involving companies from the SFU community (students, staff, faculty, alumni) are invited to compete!

For the first time, we are creating multiple categories for the range of companies applying:

  • RESEARCH-BASED ,
  • SCALABLE TECH ,
  • SMALL BUSINESS ,
  • and IDEA .

Each category winner will receive $5000 in CASH - more prizes to be announced as we get closer to the deadline.
An overall winner will also be chosen from the category winners for an additional $5000 in CASH and further in-kind prizes!

Awards will also be provided for the
